Plug Valve
A plug valve is a type of valve that uses a plug body (valve core) with a through-hole as the opening and closing element. By rotating the plug body, the relative position between the through-hole and the flow channel inside the valve body can be changed, achieving rapid opening and closing, diversion or direction change of the pipeline medium. It has the characteristics of compact structure and low opening and closing torque.Widely used in industries such as petrochemicals, natural gas transportation, food and pharmaceuticals, and water supply and drainage, it is suitable for working conditions ranging from low temperature and low pressure to high temperature and high pressure. Common Types
- Straight through plug valve: The flow channel is linear with low resistance, suitable for one-way on-off control of media
- Three way plug valve: with diversion and merging functions, it can switch the flow direction of pipeline media
- Four way plug valve: suitable for multi-directional medium distribution in complex pipelines, often used in fluid reversing systems
