End Cap

End Cap is a sealing accessory welded or fitted at the end of a pipeline, which precisely connects with the pipe opening to achieve pipeline sealing and prevent medium leakage or external impurities from entering. It is a key component for end protection of industrial pipeline systems.Widely used in industries such as petrochemicals, water supply and drainage, food and pharmaceuticals, and power and heat, it is installed at reserved openings, temporary sealing sections, or equipment inlets and outlets in process pipelines. It is used to seal idle pipelines, isolate media, and protect the interior of pipelines from corrosion and pollution.

Common Types

  • Divided by connection method: welded pipe cap (securely sealed, suitable for high-pressure conditions), threaded pipe cap (easy to disassemble and adapt to low-pressure pipelines), quick release clamp pipe cap (sanitary grade special, tool free disassembly and assembly)
  • Divided by shape: elliptical pipe cap (with good pressure resistance), flat bottom pipe cap (with small installation space), conical pipe cap (suitable for special pipeline ends)
  • Classified by material: carbon steel pipe cap, stainless steel (304/316L) pipe cap, alloy pipe cap

  1. Integrated stamping structure with equal wall thickness

  • Special point: The whole is stamped and formed, with uniform wall thickness in accordance with SCH standards, and there are no sharp edges or corners in the arc transition at the junction with the pipe mouth.
  • Result:Strong pressure and impact resistance, preventing local stress cracking, excellent welding sealing, suitable for long-term sealing under high pressure conditions.

  1. Polishing and anti-corrosion structure on the inner wall

  • Special point: Electrochemical polishing of the inner wall (Ra ≤ 0.8 μ m), free of burrs and impurities, sanitary grade mirror polishing to Ra ≤ 0.4 μ m.
  • Result: Reduce medium residue and inner wall corrosion, facilitate CIP cleaning, and adapt to clean/corrosive medium pipeline sealing.
