Diaphragm Valve
A diaphragm valve is a control valve that uses a resilient diaphragm as its opening and closing element. By raising, lowering, or deforming the diaphragm, it isolates the medium from the valve stem, achieving the on/off switching and regulation of fluid flow in a pipeline. It possesses excellent sealing performance and anti-contamination characteristics.Widely used in the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, water treatment, and environmental protection industries, especially suitable for conveying corrosive media, high-purity fluids, materials containing suspended particulate matter, and media with stringent hygiene requirements. It can operate stably under low-pressure and medium-low-pressure conditions.
Common Types
- Manual Diaphragm Valve: Handwheel driven, easy to operate, suitable for small pipelines and low-frequency regulation scenarios.
Pneumatic Diaphragm Valve: Powered by compressed air, fast response speed, suitable for automated production lines.
Electric Diaphragm Valve: Motor driven, high adjustment precision, suitable for remote control and precise flow regulation.
Sanitary Diaphragm Valve: Utilizes a mirror-polished valve body and food-grade diaphragm, meeting aseptic production requirements.
Structural Advantages & Corresponding Benefits
-
Food-grade Fully Enclosed Diaphragm Structure
- Special point: The diaphragm uses PTFE/EPDM composite material, fully enclosing the valve seat, eliminating dead corners for media residue; the valve body is forged from 304/316L stainless steel, with the inner wall polished to Ra≤0.8μm.
- Result:Prevents contact between the media and metal parts, preventing contamination, suitable for CIP/SIP online cleaning, and meets 3A and FDA hygiene standards.
-
Quick-Installation Valve Cover Structure (No Packing Gland)
- Special point: Eliminates the traditional packing seal structure, employing a clamp-on quick-install valve cover with an integrated diaphragm and valve cover design for easy assembly and disassembly.
- Result: Completely eliminates the risk of leakage at the valve stem; disassembly and maintenance require no specialized tools, significantly reducing downtime for repairs.
