Industrial Tee

The Industrial Tee (industrial three-way tee) is a branch/joining component in industrial pipeline systems, featuring three ports to enable the distribution or convergence of pipeline media. It is compatible with various pipe diameters and pressure conditions, serving as a core element for constructing complex pipeline networks.
2. Usage
Widely used in industries such as petrochemicals, natural gas transportation, power and heat, and metallurgy and mining,
it is installed at pipeline branch or junction points to transport fluids like water, oil products, steam, and chemical media, meeting the needs of fluid distribution and collection in multi-branch processes and ensuring stable system flow.

Common Types

  • By diameter: equal-diameter tee (all three pipe openings have the same diameter), reducing tee (the branch pipe and main pipe have different diameters)
  • Classification by connection type: welded tee, threaded tee, and flanged tee
  • By material: carbon steel tee, stainless steel (304/316L) tee, alloy tee

Structural Advantages & Corresponding Benefits

  1. Overall forged equal wall thickness structure

  • Special point:The entire component is forged as a single piece, with uniform wall thickness for both the main pipe and branch pipes, conforming to SCH standards. The flow diverter features smooth rounded transitions without sharp edges.
  • Result:High pressure resistance and impact strength, eliminating localized stress cracking, suitable for high-pressure working conditions, with low fluid flow resistance.
  1. The inner wall features a smooth structure free of weld spatter

  • Special point: The inner wall undergoes mechanical polishing, free of weld bead protrusions and burrs, with precisely machined pipe mouth bevels.
  • Result:Reduces medium residue and scaling, lowers transportation resistance, ensures excellent sealing performance in welding joints, and prevents medium leakage.
