Pneumatic Actuator

Pneumatic actuator is a valve driving device powered by compressed air, which drives the piston/diaphragm movement through air pressure to adjust the opening and closing or opening degree of the valve. It has fast response and good explosion-proof performance, and is the core power matching component of industrial valves.Widely used in industries such as petrochemical, chemical, metallurgical, municipal, etc., it is matched with ball valves, butterfly valves, gate valves, regulating valves, etc., and is suitable for industrial pipeline conditions that are flammable, explosive, require high explosion-proof, and have automated control.

Common Types

  • Double acting pneumatic actuator: air pressure driven on/off, maintains its original position in case of loss of air, suitable for conventional automation opening and closing scenarios
  • Single acting pneumatic actuator: air pressure on/off+spring reset, automatic return upon loss of air, suitable for explosion-proof safety working conditions
  • Angular stroke pneumatic actuator: outputs rotational torque, suitable for angular stroke valves such as ball valves and butterfly valves
  • Straight stroke pneumatic actuator: outputs linear thrust and is compatible with straight stroke valves such as gate valves and regulating valves
