Industrial-Grade Reducer

Industrial-Grade reducer is a fitting used to connect industrial pipelines of different diameters. Through a gradient diameter design, it achieves a smooth transition of fluid in the pipeline, reduces local resistance losses, and ensures the stability of the fluid transport system. It is the core component of industrial pipeline variable diameter nodes.Widely used in industries such as petrochemicals, natural gas transportation, power and thermal power, and water supply and drainage, it is installed at the inlet and outlet of pumps, pipeline branches, or equipment connection ports to regulate fluid flow rate, match pipes and equipment of different diameters, and prevent turbulence, cavitation, and other problems caused by sudden changes in pipe diameter.

Common Types

  • Divided by structure: Concentric reducer (with the diameter centerline coinciding, suitable for vertical pipelines), eccentric reducer (with the diameter centerline offset, suitable for horizontal pipelines, can avoid air pockets or liquid accumulation)
  • Divided by material: carbon steel reducer, stainless steel (304/316L) reducer, alloy reducer
  • Divided by connection method: welded reducer, threaded reducer, quick fit clamp reducer

Structural Advantages & Corresponding Benefits

  1. Gradient streamline caliber structure

  • Special point: It is formed by precise mold stamping, with a smooth flow line in the transition section of the caliber, and uniform wall thickness without sudden changes.
  • Result:The fluid resistance is reduced by 40%, avoiding turbulence and cavitation, and adapting to long-term operation under high pressure and high flow rate conditions.
  1. Integral forged pressure resistant structure

  • Special point:  It is forged as a whole, without welding joints, with precise processing of both ends' grooves, and the wall thickness meets SCH standards.
  • Result:Excellent pressure resistance, eliminating medium leakage, strong welding and sealing, suitable for transporting corrosive media.
