Welded Pipe

Welded Pipe is a tubular profile made by rolling steel plates or strips into shape and fusing the joints through welding technology. The production process is flexible and the cost is controllable. Different specifications can be customized according to needs, making it a widely used pipe material in both industrial and civilian fields.Widely used in industries such as water supply and drainage engineering, petrochemicals, building decoration, machinery manufacturing, gas transportation, etc., it can be used to transport low-pressure fluids (water, gas, ordinary chemical media), as well as structural components such as steel structure supports, guardrails, furniture frames, etc., suitable for medium and low-pressure working conditions and large-scale application scenarios.

Common Types

  • Straight seam welded pipe: The weld seam is distributed longitudinally along the pipe, and the forming process is simple, suitable for small and medium-sized low-pressure pipelines
  • Spiral welded pipe: The steel strip is coiled and welded in a spiral shape, with high weld strength, suitable for large-diameter long-distance conveying pipelines (such as water pipes and oil pipelines)
  • Stainless steel welded pipe: welded with 304/316L stainless steel strip, corrosion-resistant, used for fluid transportation in the food, pharmaceutical, and water treatment industries
  • High frequency resistance welded pipe: high welding efficiency, stable weld quality, suitable for construction scaffolding, automotive parts manufacturing

Structural Advantages & Corresponding Benefits

  1. High frequency induction welding seamless processing structure

  • Special point: The weld seam is fused using high-frequency induction heating, and then subjected to cold drawing sizing and internal weld leveling treatment. The strength of the weld seam is consistent with that of the base metal, and the inner wall is smooth without protrusions.
  • Result: The fluid resistance is low, avoiding the deposition of the medium at the weld seam, and the pressure resistance is close to that of seamless pipes, making it suitable for long-distance transportation of medium and low-pressure fluids.
  1. Anti corrosion coating composite pipe wall structure

  • Special point: The outer wall is coated with hot-dip galvanizing or epoxy powder coating, and the inner wall is lined with food grade epoxy resin. It has double-layer anti-corrosion protection and strong coating adhesion.
  • Result:Acid and alkali resistant, moisture and corrosion resistant, with a service life more than twice that of ordinary welded pipes, suitable for outdoor buried and chemical medium transportation conditions.
