Strainer

Strainer is an industrial pipeline pre coarse filtration equipment that mechanically intercepts large particle impurities in the medium through a filter screen, protecting downstream core equipment such as pumps, valves, and instruments. It is the basic protective component of fluid conveying systems.Widely used in industries such as petrochemicals, water supply and drainage, food and pharmaceuticals, and electricity, it is installed at pump ports, in front of regulating valves, etc. to filter impurities, prevent downstream equipment wear and blockage, and ensure the continuous and stable operation of pipeline systems.

Common Types

  • Y-shaped filter: compact structure, can be installed horizontally/vertically, suitable for low pressure drop scenarios with limited space and fewer impurities
  • Basket filter: with a large capacity for dirt and low pressure loss, suitable for high flow and high impurity conditions, mostly installed horizontally
  • Dual filter: Dual chamber dual filter basket, can be cleaned without stopping the machine, suitable for critical systems that operate continuously without stopping the machine
  • Stainless steel filter: made of 304/316L material, acid and alkali resistant, easy to clean, suitable for clean media filtration requirements
